核心内容提要	代谢相关脂肪性肝病肝外并发症是近10余年来才逐渐被认识, 越来越多证据表明肝外并发症远远超过肝脏本身疾病, 现已证明, 代谢相关脂肪性肝病(metabolic associated fatty liver disease, MAFLD)的死亡原因以心血管疾病居首位, 其次才是肝病, 肝外并发症范围之广, 涉及多个器官系统, 严重威脅人民健康. 出乎人们意料之外, MAFLD肝外并发症与临床多学科相关, 如内、外、儿、内分泌代谢、皮肤、神经、骨、眼、口腔等. 本文对MAFLD的并发症做一评述. 随着定义的改变, 目前对MAFLD的全貌尚不完全了解的今天, 因此, 在引起广泛重视的同时, 临床各科需要联手协作, 从病因、病理、生化、免疫、分子、基因、影像等方面进行深入研究与探索. 至目前为止除了流行病学调查外, 对并发症的发生机制、诊断和治疗的研究均未系统深入展开. 因此加强MAFLD并发症的研究与管理势在必行, 任务艰巨. 期待有共识的诊断手段和合理的治疗策略, 在诊治上有新的突破.
